Reed with the starting line advantage, but started to haze the tires around half track. Torrence chase him down just past half track and took the win.

Ashley with the starting line advantage, but Force had the lead by 330 feet and never trailed from there on for the win. She will have lane choice over Torrence by 0.005 seconds in the semifinal.

Ashley started to haze the tires and then the engine let go. He was trailing a roster tail of fire across the finish line.
