MOHNTON, Pa. - Results of round 1 eliminations in Pro Stock Motorcycle at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, 31st annual NHRA Keystone Nationals:

12:28 p.m. Weather conditions: air temperature 62 degrees, relative humidity 57 percent, barometer 29.69 inches, adjusted altitude 955 feet, track temperature 64 degrees.

Arana was quicker getting out of the gate but Savoie passed him by the time they reached 330 feet and pulled away for the win.

Johnson was quicker at the tree and first to 60 feet but from then on, this race belonged to Ellis.

Hines won here in 2010. Kennedy's motorcycle slowed in the second half of his ride and he got close to the wall. It didn't matter because Hines got off the starting line first and was way out in front. Hines will have lane choice over Stoffer in round two.

Arana won here in 2011. Pollacheck launched and when he was about to shift into third gear, the motorcycle slowed and he sat up. Arana Jr. will race Ellis in the next round and Ellis will have lane choice.

Krawiec has three wins here and is the defending event champion. He got an easy win here and will have a bye in the second round.

Matt Smith won this event in 2008 and 2013. He'll have another chance to defend that win now that he got the win over Underdahl and will race Savoie in the next round. Smith will have lane choice.
