MOHNTON, Pa. - Results of round 1 eliminations in Top Fuel at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, 27th
annual Auto-Plus NHRA Nationals:

inches, adjusted altitude 933 feet, track temperature 63 degrees.Lucas is 10 - 8 against Grubnic
in prior events. Lucas with a starting line advantage and then started to lose traction and pedaled
a couple times...Grubnic was on a really good pass until right in the lights when it appeared to
push out a head gasket. Grubnic just off his qualifying time takes the win light.

seconds (approximately 21 feet). Vandergriff with his quickest pass of the weekend for the win.
Kalitta with a good clean pass, but slowed from his qualifying time in the losing effort.

Brown's incremental times: 60ft-0.845 sec., 330ft-2.143, 660ft-3.026/285.35 mph.
