Force and Tasca III have each won 5 times against the other in prior events.

Tasca gets off the line first, then strikes the tires early and has to pedal. Force caught him quickly and started to pull away. Tasca had to pedal again, then gets to half-track and backs off the throttle. Force went right down the groove to take the win.

Hagan is 3 - 2 against Force Hood in prior events.

Force Hood needs this win to move past Beckman in the points. Hagan needs the win to maintain the 57 point lead he has over John Force in the points chase.

This one was over at the hit. Force Hood steps on the throttle and goes up in smoke. Hagan goes right down the groove and earns lane choice over Force in the final round.

If Hagan wins the final he will have a 77 point lead over Force. If Force win Hagan will have a 37 point lead.
