Smith is 2 - 0 against Payne in prior events. Smith was out of the gate first and then shook the tires hard and clicked it off. Payne was way out of the groove and real close to the centerline, but reeled it in.

This is the first time Personett and Burgess have faced each other in eliminations. Burgess with the startig line advantage, but Personett chases him down for the win. Personett will have lane choice over Payne in the semifinal.
