Ahten had trouble in the water box and could not make a pass. Austin makes a clean run, his quickest of the weekend.

This is the first time Perkins and Taliaferro have faced each other in eliminations.

Perkins leaves a little too quickly and gives Taliaferro the win.

This is the first time Severance and Guest have faced each other in eliminations.

Severance gets out of the gate first and starts to pull away. Guest starts to make up ground and finally drives around Severance just past the 1000 foot mark.

Monroe Guest's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.041), 330 ft(-0.093), 660ft(-0.058), 1,000ft(-0.007). MOV: 0.0247 seconds (approximately 9 feet).

Whiteley is 3 - 0 against Pierce in prior events.

Pierce comes off the line first, Whiteley drives around him quickly and pulls away for the win.

In the next round it will be Whiteley with lane choice over Austin and Guest vs. Taliaferro.
