Lisa Kubo extended her lead in the Hot Rod category by recording her
third victory in four races. Kubo posted a run of 9.242 at 154.62 to edge
out Sacramento winner JoJo Callos and his times of 10.180 at 119.95. Kubo
and her 1992 Honda dominated the event qualifying No. 1 and recording low
elapsed-time and top speed of the event.
