Stavrinos is 2 - 1 against Bond in prior events and Stavrinos is 1 - 0 against Bond in prior final rounds.

Stavrinos with the starting line advantage, but the engine started to let go with a lot of engine smoke. Bond chased him down just past half track and never trailed for the win. Bond wins his second Wally this season and eighth of his career. Bond wins JBS Equipment NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series presented by Elite Motorsports championship.
