LAS VEGAS - Results of round 2 eliminations in Funny Car at the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series, 26th annual MOPAR NHRA Las Vegas Nationals powered by Dodge:

This is the first time Prock and Green have faced each other in eliminations.
Prock gets out of the gate first and goes down the groove with a good run to pull away for the win. Green made a good run but was falling behind all the way through.

Austin Prock's incremental margins: 60ft(0.041), 330 ft(0.063), 660ft(0.078). MOV: 0.0988 seconds (approximately 46 feet).

Hagan is 23 - 9 against Todd in prior events.
Todd gets the advantage off of the line and goes down the groove with his quickest pass of the weekend to take the win. Hagan gained a little ground early in the run but Todd started pulling away again about 600 feet out and went on for the win.

J.R. Todd's incremental margins: 60ft(0.030), 330 ft(0.019), 660ft(0.023). MOV: 0.0281 seconds (approximately 14 feet).

Capps is 43 - 28 against Beckman in prior events.
Beckman gets the advantage off of the line, stays in front past the 660 foot mark, then Beckman spins the tires, loses a cylinder, and he slows allowing Capps to get around him and take the win.
Ron Capps' incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.015), 330 ft(-0.011), 660ft(-0.015). MOV: 0.0156 seconds (approximately 7 feet).

Capps will have lane choice over Prock in the next round.

Vandergriff is 2 - 0 against Hyde in prior events.
Hyde gets out of the gate first but he strikes the tires about 200 feet out and has to back off of the throttle. Vandergriff goes down the groove with a decent pass to take the win.
Jordan Vandergriff's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.012), 330 ft(0.287), 660ft(1.201). MOV: 2.5816 seconds (more than 100 feet).

Todd will have lane choice over Vandergriff in the next round.
