MOHNTON, Pa. - Results of round 1 eliminations in Top Fuel at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, 26th
annual Toyo Tires NHRA Nationals:

This is the first time Dakin and Foley have faced each other in eliminations. Dakin lost
traction as soon as he hit the throttle. Foley launched hard and was straight down the groove with
his quickest pass of the weekend for the win.Weather conditions: air temperature 65 degrees,
relative humidity 31 percent, barometer 29.39 inches, adjusted altitude 1,395 feet, track
temperature 83 degrees.

Torrence and Langdon have each won 1 times against the other in prior events. Torrence with
the starting line advantage, but Langdon has the difference made up by the time they went by the
Christmas tree. Langdon was dropping cylinders on the top end and the engine let go right in the
light, but he still held on for the win.

the power to hold on for the hole shot win. Antron Brown's MOV: 0.0116 seconds (approximately 5
feet). Brown's engine let go right in the lights with a quick flash of flames. Millican with his
quickest pass of the weekend in a losing effort.

Kalitta is 10 - 8 against Vandergriff in prior events. Vandergriff is up in smoke as soon as
he hit the throttle. Kalitta started hazing the tires around 600 feet and pedaled it at least
once...he still gets the win.

Bernstein is 14 - 9 against Grubnic in prior events. Bernstein start to lose traction just
past half track and got real close to the centerline before he had the chutes out early...Grubnic
launched hard and runs his quickest pass of the weekend and the quickest pass of the round for the
win light. Grubnic will have lane choice against his teammate in the next round.

but was up in smoke by 200 feet to end his weekend. Schumacher was straight down the groove with a
great looking pass, the second quick of this round. Schumacher will have lane choice over Brown in
the next round.

McCleanthan with the quickest pass in this round for the win. Cory McClenathan's incremental
times: 60ft-0.839 sec., 330ft-2.154, 660ft-3.060/279.56 mph. He will have lane choice over Langdon
in the next round. Lagana with another nice clean pass in the losing effort.
