5:00 p.m. Johnson is facing his 13th different final round opponent. His last win came in Brainerd this year.This is only Beckman's fourth start in a Funny Car, where he has four round wins.

Johnson leaves first and starts to pull away. He strikes the tires about 150 feet out, pedals two or thre times, but Beckman had already pulled away.

Congratulations to Beckman in only his fourth career Funny Car start.
