3:29 p.m. Bartone gets the hole-shot, then Beckman starts to reel him in. Bartone gets a little past half-track, the car gets out of the groove, heads for the centerline, then clicks it off early. Beckman moves on to his first ever final round.

This was a good one. They leave the line together and stayed glued together all the way through the run. Johnson gets the early lead, .016 at 60 feet, then Medlen cuts into the lead, .008 at 330 feet and half-track. It ges even closer at the 1000 foot mark, .004, but the Medlen car runs out of room and Johnson hangs on for the win.

Tommy Johnson Jr.'s incremental margins: 60ft(0.016), 330 ft(0.008), 660ft(0.008), 1,000ft(0.004). MOV: 0.0024 seconds (approximately 14 inches).

Beckman will have lane choice in the final round.
