ENNIS, Texas - Notes from final, round 4 qualifying in Top Fuel at the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series, 40th annual Texas NHRA FallNationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:

Left Lane: Cameron Ferre Runs 4.047/291.24, Now #17; Best prior run: 4.031/278.72, Was #17

Weather conditions: air temperature 88 degrees, relative humidity 35 percent, barometer 29.92 inches, adjusted altitude 2,992 feet, track temperature 126 degrees.

Ferre is straight down the groove with a good looking pass, but will not get in the show.

Right Lane: Kyle Satenstein Runs 4.454/185.61, Now #15; Best prior run: 3.948/278.79, Was #15

King was paired up with Satenstein, but he is the number 16 qualifier and he pulled out of line.

Satenstein is up in smoke by 400 feet and clicked it off.

Left Lane: Doug Foley Runs 3.942/258.62, Now #14; Best prior run: 3.826/321.41, Was #14
Right Lane: Jasmine Salinas Runs 10.297/78.32, Now #12; Best prior run: 3.760/332.86, Was #12

Foley starts to lose traction on the top end and he clicked it off.

Salinas is up in smoke right at the hit and clicked it off.

Left Lane: Ida Zetterstrom Runs 3.919/312.80, Now #13; Best prior run: 3.788/326.70, Was #13
Right Lane: Tony Schumacher Runs 4.925/149.21, Now #11; Best prior run: 3.745/335.50, Was #11

Zetterstrom launched hard and kept it hooked up to make the quickest pass of the session.

Schumacher is up in smoke around half track and clicked it off.

Left Lane: Clay Millican Runs 3.895/324.79, Now #9; Best prior run: 3.737/333.63, Was #9
Right Lane: Josh Hart Runs 4.146/217.64, Now #10; Best prior run: 3.740/330.79, Was #10

Millican kept it hooked up and makes the quickest pass of the session.

Hart pulls the tires loose around half track and clicked it off.

Left Lane: Doug Kalitta Runs 3.838/311.27, Now #5; Best prior run: 3.701/338.37, Was #5
Right Lane: Tony Stewart Runs 4.478/177.18, Now #8; Best prior run: 3.724/331.86, Was #8

Kalitta with a good pass early, but then started to haze the tires on the top end and clicked it off. He has the quickest pass of the session.

Stewart starts to lose traction around half track and clicks it off.

Right Lane: Steve Torrence Runs 3.851/327.63, Now #7; Best prior run: 3.709/332.59, Was #7

Brown with a good pass until on the top end, he starts to lose traction on the top end.

Torrence kept it hooked up and makes the second quickest pass of the session with a good pass.

Reed with a good pass and then started to drop cylinders and clicked it off .

Force kept it hooked up and makes the second quickest pass of the session.

Right Lane: Justin Ashley Runs 4.019/247.13, Now #3; Best prior run: 3.688/338.02, Was #3

Langdon launched hard and kept it hooked up to make the quickest pass of the session. Shawn Langdon's incremental times: 60ft-0.851 sec., 330ft-2.156, 660ft-3.055/284.23 mph.

Ashley with a good pass early and then the car started to mix up cylinders, it bangs the blower with a quick flash of flames.
