LAS VEGAS - Notes from round 1 qualifying in Top Fuel at the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series, 23rd annual NHRA Nevada Nationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run:

Right Lane: Kelly Harper Runs 3.934/306.74, Now #1

Weather conditions: air temperature 73 degrees, relative humidity 28 percent, barometer 29.90 inches, adjusted altitude 3,532 feet.

Harper is making his Top Fuel debut.

Left Lane: Luigi Novelli No Time, Now #3
Right Lane: Rob Passey Runs 3.989/304.05, Now #2

Novelli is making his first appearance on tour since Norwalk 2021. Novelli rolls the beams and he won't get a time.

Passey launched hard and kept it hooked up to make his first pass in the threes and first pass over 300 mph. Rob Passey's incremental times: 60ft-0.881 sec., 330ft-2.231, 660ft-3.191/263.92 mph.

Right Lane: Dan Mercier Runs 6.902/91.09, Now #4

Zizzo was on a good pass, but clicked it off early. Not sure if it was a planned shut off.

Hart is up in smoke and clicks it off.

Right Lane: Austin Prock Runs 4.911/143.75, Now #6

Schumacher starts to lose traction and clicks it off.

Prock starts to haze the tires and clicks it off.

Left Lane: Clay Millican Runs 3.846/251.06, Now #2
Right Lane: Brittany Force Runs 3.732/335.48, Now #1

Millican was on a great looking pass until on the top end when he got real loose. He clicked it off early, but still goes to the number two spot. Clay Millican's incremental times: 60ft-0.839 sec., 330ft-2.112, 660ft-2.978/290.13 mph.

Force launched hard and kept it hooked up and hitting on all eight to go to the number one spot. Brittany Force's incremental times: 60ft-0.847 sec., 330ft-2.142, 660ft-3.012/293.86 mph.

Right Lane: Antron Brown Runs 3.768/324.59, Now #2

Salinas starts to lose traction and clicks it off.
