Left Lane: Joe DeSantis Runs 7.469/178.64, Now #7; Best prior run: 7.434/180.74, Was #7 Right Lane: Matt Hines Runs 7.231/181.06, Now #1; Best prior run: 7.225/182.45, Was #1 1:57 PM Matt commented several times during last nights interview about how much quicker the shifts come with the six speed transmission. This heat-of-the-day run isn't too bad considering the conditions. Too bad it's still off the pace. Left Lane: Fred Camarena Runs 7.490/175.94, Now #14; Best prior run: 7.532/174.98, Was #16 Right Lane: Greg Underdahl Runs 7.384/177.14, Now #7; Best prior run: 7.437/185.82, Was #10 Both drivers move up, good sub 1.13 60-foot times are a big part of the reason. Right Lane: Steve Johnson Runs 7.400/177.16, Now #6; Best prior run: 7.383/181.94, Was #6 Johnson's run was consistent.... Right Lane: Angelle Seeling Runs 7.258/179.23, Now #3; Best prior run: 7.259/182.92, Was #3 Right now Matt Hines would get two more points based on his and Angelle's qualifying position. You can be sure both teams want those eight extra points for the number one spot. Angelle and Team Winston get the best 60-foot time of the round at 1.088, but it's not enough to move up the ladder.
