6:07 PM With all the fine Federal-Mogul Funny Car talent in Division 4, the finals here end up being a Division 7 versus Division 3 matchup between the Dream Weaver Firebird and the Lucas Oil car. This would have been a very good drag race, but Weaver's car started shaking and chattering the tires, getting very sideways. He drove through it, but by then Lawson was long gone. Lawson wins and does not burn the car down in the process - way to go!
