7:22 PM The Fuel Cars were overpowering the cold track, but the Factory Hot Rods should not have that problem. With the cool temperatures these cars should fly. Stevens gives the Professor a freebie here.

Both cars make moves toward their wall, and then Kurt gets real loose and has to lift and then get back into it. He can not chase down Pawuk.

Smith makes a quick move toward the wall when he launches and has to lift.

Edwards lets the clutch out and loses traction immediately. He coast on through the quarter-mile. Martino with a good pass.

Nance is out on Yates, but Yates has the power to chase him down. Yates with the quickest pass of the night, so far.

Morgan is out of the gate first, but Osborne runs him down. He will give up lane choice to W. Johnson, Martino over Marnell, Yates over Allen, and Jeg over Pawuk.
