MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Results of round 2 eliminations in Pro Stock at the 11th annual Pennzoil Nationals presented by AutoZone:

2:27 PM and the place is still rumbling after Al Hofmann just defeated John Force. But it's time for the Hot Rods, and for the second round in a row Kurt wins on a holeshot. The margin was a big 0.044 seconds, or almost 13 feet.

Gaines gave it all he had here, a great leave but it wasn't enough. The margin was a tight 0.029 seconds, or just 8 feet.

Yates earns a big win and lane choice over Kurt next time, winning by 0.109 seconds here.

Both drivers take a long time to pre-stage, and then both take a while to stage, and then the starter is in no hurry to flip the switch. But after all that they leave pretty much together, and the Pawuk gets out of the groove and his day is done. WJ gets lane choice over Coughlin next time.
