5:32 PM and Panella takes the left side (I misspoke when I said Jeter had lane choice, here) but the lanes have been pretty even today. Still, Jeter hasn't been down the right side all day, and that may have been the difference as the S.C. racer makes his slowest run of day and even his holeshot can't outrun Panella. The margin was tight, only 0.003 seconds apart at the stripe, just 8 inches. The Panellas build their own powerplants, and they certainly must be proud today!
