GAINESVILLE, Fla. - 11:15 a.m. - Weather forecasts and conditions continued to deteriorate at Gainesville Raceway, with a severe thunderstorm watch now in effect through this afternoon, calling for heavy rain, large hail, strong gusty winds and lightning.

The forecast for Easter Sunday calls for more of the same, getting worse as the day goes on.

Race officials have rescheduled this race to August 5th and 6th, with time trials on Friday, August 5th and the race on Saturday, August 6th, starting at 10 a.m both days.

As was the case this weekend, fields in Top Alcohol, Competition Eliminator and Top Sportsman are set. Those eliminators will get one time trial run Friday.

All other fields are still open and those remaining eliminators will receive two time trial runs Friday. Both Stock Eliminator and Super Stock will be randomly paired for the first round of eliminations Saturday.
