Still Wrapping Up 2011

Since the end of the 2011 season everyone here at DragRaceCentral.com has been busy saluting the champions. I`ve written about the Lucas Oil World Champions and the Summit Racing Series World Champions as well as featuring the champions who won championships in the NHRA Full Throttle classes while Kelly Wade has been writing about the individual champions in each of the seven NHRA divisions. Now, with the start of the 2012 season just a few days away, I wanted to go one step further and acknowledge some of the folks who were honored at the division banquets around the country. This includes, but is not limited to, the division champs who picked up their hardware at these annual affairs. But it also includes some unsung heroes on the divisional level, and in the case of some divisions, new members to their Hall of Fame.
