Tigges left first, then danced his way down the track, next to the centerline most of the way. He still ran his quickest of the event, by almost a tenth of a second, for the win.

Doushgounian left first and led past the 1,000-foot marker. Then his car nosed over and Payne went by for the win.

This is the first time Gasparrelli and Lindberg have faced each other in eliminations.

Lindberg was first off the line and pulling away all the way to win by a large margin. He will have lane choice against Payne in the semifinals.

Robertson used his 0.007 light to get the holeshot win against Bartone. Bartone started closing the gap on the top end, ran out of race track.

Robertson will not have lane choice when he races Tigges in the semifinals.
