Manzo has won this race six times, the first time coming in 1985 when he won the inaugural Keystone Nationals with a victory over Vern Moats. Newberry has won here four times. Manzo has 14 wins and three losses against Newberry in national event final round competition.

Manzo cut a 0.001 light and won this race with a hole shot. The win is Manzo's 56th and ties him with David Rampy for seventh place on the all-time win list.
