4:06 PM Capps will be trying to do something he hasn't been able to do this year....beat John Force. They have raced seven times with Force winning them all. Force started mixing up cylinders around half-track. Capps finally breaks the losing streak, getting the holeshot and holding off Force for the win. Margin of victory = 0.022 seconds (approximately 10 feet).

Bazemore gets the holeshot but Cannon makes up the difference by half-track. Cannon's car started mixing up cylinders around the thousand foot mark and the engine erupts in flames. Bazemore will meet Capps in the final round, Capps with the lane choice.
