4:40 PM Never thought we'd get here, but the rain held off and here we are. It was spectacular. Troxel left first, but not by much, and then she started to smoke the tires. Meanwhile, Cory Mac had the front wheels two feet in the air - and they stayed there to about half track before he briefly pedaled to get them down again. Melanie pedaled and smoked, never did get hooked back up again. Cory Mac makes it eight round wins in a row for the "new pipe," the new Murf McKinney MBNA dragster a two-race winner in as many weekends.
