JOLIET, Ill. - Notes from round 1 qualifying in Screamin' Eagle Nitro Harley at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, Fourth annual CARQUEST Auto Parts NHRA Nationals listing lane, rider name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run:

Left Lane: Doc Hopkins No Time, Now #2
Right Lane: Mark Turner Runs 7.626/143.75, Now #1

Not sure what happened with Hopkins, but the NHRA officials are going to let him try it again. Turner was out of the groove early and clicked it off early.

Left Lane: Doc Hopkins Runs 11.016/102.47, Now #2

Hopkins had problems early in the run and clicked it off.
