They leave the line together and run together with Scali just ahead from start to finish.

Showers nails him to the tree and has to lift after getting loose. Gann will have lane choice over Scali in the next round.

2:41 PM This is a rerun from much earlier this afternoon. There was a problem with the parings in the computer and then the tree malfunctioned.

It's over quickly, as Lewis is WAY early. He compounds his problems when the bike gets out of shape and kicks the 330 foot reflector into the right lane, almost hitting Phillips. Matt Hines will have lane choice over Phillips next round.
