POMONA, Calif. - Results of final, round 4 eliminations in Top Alcohol Dragster at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, 38th annual Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals:

The final pair of dragsters slowly cackles to life. We have a pair of A Fuelers ready to go and the match up follows form. Lucas qualified #1 and Bartone #2.

Even start but Lucas pulls out a huge lead by 60 feet. Lucas carded a .918 60, while Bartone has a .996. It only got worse for Bartone as the Lucas Oil car had a 63 foot lead at the finish. According to what I can find that should be a new national record as well. It's backed by his earlier 5.287 against Bozzelli. Big win for the team.
