FINLAY, Ohio - The International Christian Racers Association, the official ministry of the IHRA, is pleased to announce their inaugural “Feel the Power” Fundraiser. Participants in this special program will have the opportunity to win an Executive 40-foot, double-slide 500 horsepower Monaco Coach, a double-stack trailer from United Expressline, a Chrysler PT Cruiser from United Dodge of Shreveport, a Harley-Davidson Fatboy from Ray Price Harley-Davidson, a custom golf cart and $30,600 in cash. This drawing will be held at the 2002 IHRA World Finals in Rockingham, NC., on Thursday, October 17.

Feel the Power Fundraiser

The fundraiser will be open to 6000 participants offering at $100 donation per ticket. As an incentive to those participating, if one buys ten tickets, then the eleventh is free.

Jim Hartley, the chaplain for the ICRA, stands excited at the potential to share the gospel of Christ through this unique program.

“I feel that this program can greatly benefit our objective of leading more people in our racing community to Christ,” explained Hartley, who has been the IHRA chaplain since the mid-Eighties. “A program of this magnitude could only come to pass through the efforts of a lot of great companies like Monaco, United Dodge of Shreveport, Ray Price Harley-Davidson, United Expressline and Bruce Litton Trailer Sales as well as the parishioners of our church.

“This is an incredible opportunity that God has entrusted us with and I feel that this will provide a tremendous atmosphere to expand our ICRA family.”

There will be 110 available prizes, which will be drawn electronically until the last twenty-five. Those tickets will be pulled physically. The cash breakdown will be (1) $5000, (3) $1000, (20) $500, (30) $250 and (51) $100 prizes.

The presentation will come on Sunday at Rockingham and will be televised.

All donors to the fundraiser will be treated to a BBQ dinner on Thursday. Their ticket stub will serve as their admittance.
