POMONA, Calif. - Results of final, round 3 eliminations in Top Fuel at the 17th annual Budweiser Shootout at Pomona:

Dixon out of the gate first and had a 0.833 60-foot time. He had a car length lead by 150 feet and just stretched it out from there. Dixon was running 272.06 mph at half track again. Both cars with the header flames shooting over the big tall wing all the way down the quarter mile. This is Dixon's second win out of three final rounds he has been in the seven years that he has qualified for the Budweiser Shootout. The Miller Lite team will take home the $100,000 from Budweiser and will have a chance to take home an extra $50,000 from NHRA if he can win the race tomorrow.
