5:46 PM Top Fuel final on the pad. McDaniel loses the battle but wins the war. He's the Goodguys Top Fuel Champion for 2001. With the win Dunlap takes over the #2 spot in the series over Jack Harris by one point. There was a shower of sparks after the finish but we couldn't see which car. The word is the track is clean. Congratulations to all of the Top Fuel racers for a great season.
