TOPEKA, Kan. - Results of round 2 eliminations in Top Fuel at the 12th annual Advance Auto Parts Nationals:

They leave the line together, but Cory with a great 0.853 60-foot time to Joe's 0.883 and then Cory never looked back to move into the semi-finals.

Schumacher with the quicker light and drove it on through for the win over teammate Troxel. Troxel started to haze the tires around 200 feet and clicked it off.

Dixon with the hole shot and then he pitched the blower belt around 200 feet and that was the end of his day. Kalitta dropped a cylinder on the top end, but will still have lane choice against Schumacher.

Stewart with a quick tree and this caught both of these guys off guard. Scelzi with the big advantage on the starting line and just stretched it out from there. Team Winston will have lane choice against Cory McClenathan.
