CORDOVA, Ill. - Notes from round 1 qualifying in Pro Outlaw at the 21st annual Amalie Motor Oil Summer Nationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run:

Left Lane: Jim Lamb No Time, Now #2
Right Lane: Mick Snyder Runs 6.356/210.31, Now #1

We start Pro qualifying under blue skies and temperatures in the upper 70's, humidity is 47% and the barometer is 29.68 inches.

Lamb left before the light was activated, so he will have to try again tomorrow.

Left Lane: Scott Ray Runs 8.791/88.99, Now #3
Right Lane: Gary Leczner Runs 6.619/203.58, Now #2

Ray started burning up some parts around half track and clicked it off.

Left Lane: Laurie Cannister Runs 6.205/215.75, Now #1
Right Lane: Mike Decker No Time, Now #6

Decker left before tree was activated, and that was a shame because it looked like a great pass. Cannister with a clean pass for the number one spot for now.
