2:48 PM The two upset winners from round one square off to open the second round - Allen putting Delgado in the less-favored (at least in Pro Stock) right lane. They left right together, but then Delgado encountered shake and Allen motored away from him for an easy win.

Stevens nailed Coughlin to the tree and then Coughlin ran into the dreaded tire shake and had to give it up. Stevens sends the number-one qualifier home.

Yates almost won this one at the starting line but Coughlin used his Dick Maskin power to run low ET of eliminations to win by a margin of victory = 0.016 seconds (approximately 5 feet). He has lane choice against Stevens in the semifinals.

They left together and Pawuk was right with WJ at half track, but then the big Johnson power came into play and WJ ran away to post low ET of the event, earning lane choice against Allen in the semifinals. The margin of victory = 0.049 seconds (approximately 14 feet).
