MILLINGTON, Tenn. - 3:45 PM The track surface was ready for racing at 3:20 PM and three pairs of Competition Eliminator cars made it down the track before it started raining again. At first it was just a light mist, one the jet drier could take care of, but then the rain got heavier and the grandstands cleared.

Right now it's raining hard enough to thoroughly moisten the track surface, so the Safety Safari will have to start the track drying process all over again once the rain stops.

We'll update the situation around 6:00 pm CDT, sooner if the situation warrants.
