5:24 PM The right lane is favored here in final rounds - the stands shade that lane this time of day while the left lane is still in full sunlight. Here Kurt proceeeded down the middle of the lane while Coughlin struggled to retain traction, his car skating around before he abandoned the run. Kurt's amazing consistency through the day got him here and delivered the trophy, a nice job.
