ENNIS, Texas - Austin Sides, Krum, Texas, was uninjured when his '96 Camaro went out of control during the second round of Super Gas eliminations Thursday evening at the 13th annual NHRA Revell Nationals.

Sides was running in the left lane and lost control about 1,000 feet down the track. His car crossed the centerline, hit the right retaining wall, and overturned, spinning to a stop well past the finish line.

Sides exited the car unaided, was examined, and declined further medical treatment.
