MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Notes from round 3 qualifying in Pro Stock at the 11th annual Pennzoil Nationals presented by AutoZone, listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, (best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run):

Left Lane: John Nobile Runs 6.937/198.29 Now # 4, (Best prior run: 6.950/197.71 Was #10)
Right Lane: Allen Johnson Runs 7.063/195.76 Now #22, (Best prior run: 7.059/194.24 Was #22)

Look for a lot of shuffling and moving in and out of the show during this morning's round. Nobile makes the big move.

Left Lane: Richie Stevens Runs 6.915/198.32 Now # 2, (Best prior run: 6.951/196.87 Was #11)
Right Lane: Danny Coffman Runs 7.045/195.19 Now #22, (Best prior run: 10.009/ 90.34 Was #31)

Stevens with his career best pass here, while Coffman gets loose and clicks it off.

Left Lane: Bruce Allen Runs 7.001/196.33 Now #13, (Best prior run: 6.978/196.33 Was #13)
Right Lane: Mark Osborne Runs 7.006/197.19 Now # 3, (Best prior run: 6.919/198.47 Was # 3)

Both of these guys go the wrong way with their tune ups and fall off their numbers from yesterday.

Left Lane: Steve Schmidt Runs 6.954/198.20 Now #13, (Best prior run: 9.162/102.17 Was #31)
Right Lane: Arturo Delgado Runs 7.025/197.10 Now #21, (Best prior run: 8.841/108.63 Was #30)

Schmidt finally gets down the track, and bumps out Morgan. the bump is now Nance with a 6.997 seconds.

Left Lane: Mark Thomas Runs 15.145/ 52.57 Now #33, (Best prior run: 14.435/ 57.21 Was #33)
Right Lane: Larry Morgan Runs 6.955/197.74 Now #15, (Best prior run: 6.998/197.13 Was #17)

Thomas lifts the front tires on the launch and gets out of the groove and clicks it off. Morgan gets back into the show.

Left Lane: Mark Pawuk Runs 7.082/196.56 Now # 7, (Best prior run: 6.941/197.57 Was # 7)
Right Lane: Shawn Collins Runs 6.955/197.57 Now #14, (Best prior run: 8.043/125.73 Was #29)

Collins moves into the six-second zone.

Left Lane: Tom Martino Runs 6.958/197.62 Now #15, (Best prior run: 6.987/197.31 Was #16)
Right Lane: Ray Franks Runs 9.345/ 98.99 Now #11, (Best prior run: 6.948/198.32 Was #11)

Left Lane: Troy Coughlin No Time Now #19, (Best prior run: 7.002/197.68 Was #19)

Coughlin breaks on the burnout, Nance is real loose by the 200-foot mark and clicks it off.

The first ever 200 mile per hour pass for Memphis Motorsports Park and another 6.80. Warren is dominating this weekend.

Wick is real loose.

Right Lane: Dester Cambron Runs 18.722/ 42.31 Now #20, (Best prior run: 7.004/197.42 Was #20)

Williams breaks on the burnout, so he will have one more chance. Johnson falls off yesterdays pace.

Right Lane: V. Gaines Runs 6.965/197.83 Now #12, (Best prior run: 6.953/197.43 Was #12)

Yates makes a move toward the centerline, yet still moves to the number 2 spot.

Right Lane: Mike Thomas Runs 6.939/198.29 Now # 8, (Best prior run: 8.318/118.33 Was #31)

Thomas breaks into the show, and the bumps out teammate Allen and puts Martino on the bubble.

Left Lane: Bob Kropfield Runs 7.754/137.05 Now #29, (Best prior run: 7.139/194.83 Was #29)
Right Lane: Jeg Coughlin Runs 6.970/198.73 Now # 5, (Best prior run: 6.935/198.17 Was # 5)

Right Lane: Rickie Smith Runs 6.988/196.73 Now #18, (Best prior run: 7.036/196.39 Was #24)

Right Lane: Mike Edwards Runs 7.005/195.96 Now #23, (Best prior run: 7.016/196.85 Was #23)

Edwards, runner-up from the most recent event, is still not in the show with one more shot at it.

We end with Warren on top with a 6.881 and Collins is holding on to the bump with 6.955.
