In the 39 races between Pruett & Kalitta Doug has "left first" 29 times. This is the 2nd time that the #5 & 6 TF qualifiers have met in the final round at this event (2013)

Kalitta is 26 - 13 against Pruett in prior events and each has won 2 times against the other in final rounds.

Pruett with the starting line advantage, but is up in smoke and pedaled it. she couldn't get it to hook up.

Kalitta kept it hooked up and hitting on all eight to make the quickest pass of the weekend for the win.

The #2 TF qualifier has won this race 8 times (in 13 Final rounds). Last win was 2021.

Kalitta wins his 64th career Wally and fifth of the season.
