MADISON, Ill. - Notes from round 1 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series, 15th annual NAPA Auto Parts NHRA Midwest Nationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run:

Left Lane: Mason McGaha Runs 6.563/209.85, Now #1
Right Lane: Chris Vang Runs 12.398/76.94, Now #2

Weather conditions: air temperature 72 degrees, relative humidity 58 percent, barometer 30.14 inches, adjusted altitude 1,577 feet, track temperature 126 degrees.

McGaha is loose early and he stayed with it.

Vang with severe tire shake at the hit and clicked it off.

Delco is drifting out of the groove and over by the wall. He stays with it for a good pass.

Latino kept it hooked up and is straight down the groove to go to the number one spot.

This was a good side-by-side drag race.
