ROCKINGHAM, N.C. - Notes from round 2 qualifying in Funny Car at the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series, Inaugural NHRA Nationals at The Rock listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:

Left Lane: Jon Capps Runs 4.098/294.89, Now #10; No Prior Run

Weather conditions: air temperature 73 degrees, relative humidity 40 percent, barometer 29.98 inches, adjusted altitude 1,662 feet, track temperature 108 degrees.

Capps is driving the Gilbertson car this weekend. He has a cylinder out, but stays with it.

DeJoria has a hole out on thee right side and it pushes the car toward the centerline before she clicked it off.

Smith had a hole out early and clicked it off.

Richards is up in smoke right at the hit and clicked it off.

Pedregon is straight down the groove with a good looking pass.

Hagan launched hard and kept it hooked up to go to the number four spot.

Vandergriff started to lose traction and clicked it off.
