MARTIN, Mich. - Notes from round 3 qualifying in Funny Car at the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series, Inaugural NHRA Great Lakes Nationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:

Left Lane: Hunter Green Runs 3.970/325.14, Now #11; Best prior run: 4.083/305.50, Was #14
Right Lane: Joey Haas Runs 4.071/307.80, Now #14; Best prior run: 4.097/273.56, Was #15

Green kept it hooked up to make his quickest pass this weekend, he used up and engine in the shut down area. He moves up the ladder three spots.

Haas was straight down the groove with a nice pass to move up the ladder one spot.

Hagan kept it hooked up to move into the top half of the show.

Beckman launched hard and kept it hooked up to go to the number one spot.

DeJoria with tire shake right at the hit and clicked it off.

Hyde is straight down the groove and makes a good pass. He will not improve, but makes the second quickest pass of the session.
