GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The 2026 season begins March 5-8 at historic Gainesville Raceway as Terry Haddock Racing kicks off its year at the Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals.

Driver Terry Haddock will campaign the team's nitro Funny Car at the season-opening national event, where large qualifying fields and changing track conditions traditionally make Gainesville one of the most challenging races on the NHRA schedule. During the offseason, the team focused on updates to its clutch combination and overall race-day consistency.

P&C Cable Construction Inc. will be featured on the Funny Car for the Gainesville event. Concho Supply continues its long-standing involvement with the program, while BPK joins the team for the 2026 season after working alongside the crew during preseason preparation.

The team will also utilize a full lineup of GearWrench tools throughout the season as part of its ongoing efforts to improve service and turnaround between runs.

"We're thankful for everyone who stands behind this team," Haddock said. "We put a lot of work into the car during the offseason and Gainesville is always a tough place to start, but we're ready to unload and go race." Following the GatorNationals, Terry Haddock Racing plans to compete in select NHRA national events while focusing on a full IHRA schedule in pursuit of the 2026 IHRA Funny Car championship.
