This is the first time Banaka and Menholt have faced each other in eliminations.

Menholt with the starting line advantage, but Banaka has the lead as they go by the Christmas tree and never trailed for the win. He keeps his championship hopes alive and this eliminates Menholt.

Stavrinos with the starting line advantage, but has problems right at the hit and comes to a stop on the track around 330 feet. This puts an end to his Championship hopes.

King kept it hooked up and is straight down the groove for the win. He will give up lane choice to Banaka in the semifinal.
