ENNIS, Texas - Notes from round 2 qualifying in Pro Stock Motorcycle at the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series, 40th annual Texas NHRA FallNationals listing lane, rider name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:

Left Lane: Charles Poskey Runs 7.100/190.52, Now #15; Best prior run: 7.081/189.40, Was #14
Right Lane: Chris Bostick Runs 6.880/194.28, Now #10; No Prior Run

7:06 p.m. Weather conditions: air temperature 80 degrees, relative humidity 51 percent, barometer 30.07 inches, adjusted altitude 2,374 feet.

Poskey made a clean pass but did not improve. It looked like something may have come off of his bike around half track.

Bostick goes down the groove with a good run to get in the field in the tenth spot for now.

Right Lane: Lance Bonham Runs 7.891/153.66, Now #16; Best prior run: 7.262/181.55, Was #16

Oehler improves but not enough to move up in the order. Bonham has problems late in the run.

Left Lane: Jianna Evaristo Runs 6.903/195.38, Now #11; Best prior run: 6.881/195.36, Was #11
Right Lane: Clayton Howey Runs 6.885/197.20, Now #12; Best prior run: 7.033/194.22, Was #14

Evaristo makes a decent run but doesn't improve. Howey makes a big improvement and moves up to the 12th spot for now.

Left Lane: Marc Ingwersen Runs 7.018/195.13, Now #9; Best prior run: 6.869/194.38, Was #8
Right Lane: Chase Van Sant Runs 6.843/198.55, Now #7; Best prior run: 7.028/166.25, Was #14

Ingwersen spun the tire a little at the hit and did not improve. Van Sant makes a full pass this time and moves up to the seventh spot for now.

Left Lane: Angie Smith Runs 6.803/200.15, Now #5; Best prior run: 6.868/197.36, Was #8
Right Lane: Kelly Clontz Runs 6.887/198.60, Now #10; Best prior run: 6.871/198.94, Was #10

Smith goes down the groove with a good pass and she moves up to the fifth spot for now. Clontz makes a decent pass but doesn't improve.

Left Lane: Steve Johnson Runs 6.832/196.05, Now #7; Best prior run: 6.831/195.07, Was #7
Right Lane: John Hall Runs 6.987/160.83, Now #6; Best prior run: 6.815/200.38, Was #6

Johnson makes a decent pass but doesn't improve. Hall got close to the centerline and had to back off of the throttle.

Right Lane: Brayden Davis Runs 6.772/200.53, Now #3; Best prior run: 6.788/200.46, Was #4

Smith's bike was a little sluggish off of the line and he doesn't improve. Davis goes down the groove with a good run and moves up to the third spot for now.

Right Lane: Gaige Herrera Runs 6.803/197.01, Now #2; Best prior run: 6.767/200.35, Was #2

Gadson goes down the groove with an impressive pass to increase his hold on the top spot.

Richard Gadson's incremental times: 60ft-1.048 sec., 330ft-2.821, 660ft-4.321/163.35 mph, 1,000ft-5.631.

Herrera makes a decent pass but slows from his earlier attempt.
