LAS VEGAS - Notes from round 1 time trials in Top Alcohol Dragster at the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series, Pacific Division, event at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway listing lane, driver name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run:

Left Lane: Joey Severance Runs 9.086/123.49, Now #2
Right Lane: Nick Januik Runs 5.269/272.23, Now #1

Weather conditions: air temperature 62 degrees, relative humidity 17 percent, barometer 30.15 inches, adjusted altitude 2,392 feet.

Severance made a quick move toward the centerline and clicked it off.

Januik kept it hooked up and makes a real nice pass. Nick Januik's incremental times: 60ft-0.921 sec., 330ft-2.369, 660ft-3.484/222.07 mph, 1,000ft-4.446.

Right Lane: Jon Bradford Runs 11.639/65.88, Now #3

Blinzler shook right at the hit and clicked it off.

Bradford rattled the tires and clicked it off.

Right Lane: Todd Bruce Runs 10.305/85.06, Now #3

Chesleigh shook and clicked it off.

Bruce also with tire shake and clicked it off.

Left Lane: Shawn Cowie Runs 5.253/275.56, Now #1
Right Lane: Madison Payne Runs 9.650/86.46, Now #4

Cowie launched hard and kept it hooked up to make a good looking pass. Shawn Cowie's incremental times: 60ft-0.933 sec., 330ft-2.361, 660ft-3.478/221.20 mph, 1,000ft-4.437.

Payne shook and clicked it off.

Right Lane: Melanie Johnson Runs 11.105/78.72, Now #7

Fricke kept it hooked up and is straight down the groove with the quickest pass of the day. Jackie Fricke's incremental times: 60ft-0.930 sec., 330ft-2.405, 660ft-3.504/227.46 mph, 1,000ft-4.437.

Johnson with tire shake and clicked it off.
