LAS VEGAS - Notes from final, round 3 qualifying in Top Alcohol Funny Car at the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series, 24th annual Ford Performance NHRA Nationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:
Left Lane: Doug Schneider Runs 5.638/255.05, Now #11; Best prior run: 5.598/256.06, Was #11
Weather conditions: air temperature 57 degrees, relative humidity 37 percent, barometer 29.83 inches, adjusted altitude 2,540 feet.
Schneider with another good clean pass, but will not improve.
Left Lane: Hunter Jones Runs 5.550/262.79, Now #8; Best prior run: 5.541/262.95, Was #8
Right Lane: Robert Kanenwisher No Time, Now #14; Best prior run: 5.789/244.96, Was #14
Jones is straight down the groove, but will not improve.
Kanenwisher didn't show.
Left Lane: Will Martin Runs 5.685/218.72, Now #7; Best prior run: 5.535/262.44, Was #7
Martin was on a good straight pass and the car went silent on the top end.
Left Lane: Annie Whiteley Runs 5.519/263.87, Now #4; Best prior run: 5.511/265.12, Was #4

Whiteley is straight down the groove with another good pass, but she will not improve.
Leanders kept it hooked up to make his quickest pass of the weekend. He will not move up the ladder.
Left Lane: Bob McCosh Runs 5.507/264.55, Now #3; Best prior run: 5.498/263.56, Was #3
Right Lane: Jim Whiteley Runs 5.634/252.52, Now #10; Best prior run: 5.596/255.63, Was #10
McCosh launched hard and makes another good clean pass, but will not improve.
Whiteley is straight down the groove, but he will not improve.
Left Lane: Christine Foster Runs 5.503/264.03, Now #2; Best prior run: 5.489/262.69, Was #2
Right Lane: Brian Hough Runs 5.505/262.39, Now #4; Best prior run: 5.541/261.07, Was #9
This is a great side-by-side drag race.
Foster with another great pass. She will not improve, but holds on to the number two spot.
Hough launched hard and kept it hooked up to make his quickest pass of the weekend. He goes to the number four spot. Brian Hough's incremental times: 60ft-0.937 sec., 330ft-2.460, 660ft-3.644/209.33 mph, 1,000ft-4.650.

Bellemeur launched hard and kept it hooked up to make the quickest pass of the event. Sean Bellemeur's incremental times: 60ft-0.930 sec., 330ft-2.430, 660ft-3.598/211.86 mph, 1,000ft-4.593.
Martin with a great pass, he was straight down the groove with his quickest pass of the event. He goes to the number four spot. Ray Martin's incremental times: 60ft-0.926 sec., 330ft-2.433, 660ft-3.619/208.49 mph, 1,000ft-4.635.
Left Lane: Madison Gordon Runs 7.177/248.66, Now #7; Best prior run: 5.521/265.33, Was #7
Right Lane: Don Hudson Runs 6.555/247.66, Now #15; Best prior run: 5.915/238.72, Was #15
Gordon with sever tire shake and pedaled it.
