LAS VEGAS - Notes from round 2 qualifying in Pro Modified at the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series, 24th annual Ford Performance NHRA Nationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:
Left Lane: Kevin Rivenbark Runs 5.948/245.40, Now #13; No Prior Run
Right Lane: Nick Januik Runs 5.976/242.19, Now #14; No Prior Run
Weather conditions: air temperature 62 degrees, relative humidity 30 percent, barometer 29.83 inches, adjusted altitude 2,862 feet.
Rivenbark starts to lose traction and pedals it. He gets it to hook up to get in the show.
Januik is straight down the groove to get in the show.

Thielen is out of the groove and over by the centerline before he clicked it off.
Quartuccio kept it hooked up to move up the ladder two spots.

Right Lane: Sidnei Frigo Runs 5.780/246.62, Now #4; Best prior run: 5.804/246.03, Was #9
Wright is straight down the groove, he improves on his pass from earlier today. He will stay in the number 13 spot.

Banaka with his quickest pass today, but will stay in the number nine spot.
