GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Notes from round 3 qualifying in Pro Modified at the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series, 55th annual NHRA Gatornationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:

Left Lane: Nick Januik Runs 7.837/136.04, Now #25; Best prior run: 10.604/101.47, Was #26
Right Lane: Jason Lee Runs 6.525/162.98, Now #24; Best prior run: 6.112/221.20, Was #24

Weather conditions: air temperature 78 degrees, relative humidity 78 percent, barometer 29.89 inches, adjusted altitude 2,261 feet.

Januik labors all the way down the track.

Lee was on a good pass until around half track and the engine went away and he clicked it off.

Right Lane: Khalid alBalooshi Runs 7.284/126.67, Now #25; Best prior run: 8.160/105.41, Was #26

King is straight down the groove with his quickest pass of the weekend, but will not get in the show.

alBalooshi makes a quick move toward the centerline and clicks it off.

Right Lane: Lyle Barnett Runs 5.789/243.90, Now #13; Best prior run: 5.810/246.57, Was #15

Stavrinos was real loose right at the hit and clicked it off.

Barnett is straight down the groove with his quickest pass of the weekend to move up the ladder three spots.

Left Lane: Dmitry Samorukov Runs 6.097/232.11, Now #22; Best prior run: 5.899/241.50, Was #22
Right Lane: Paul Daigrepont Runs 5.876/240.81, Now #20; Best prior run: 5.881/239.10, Was #20

Samorukov is loose all the way down the track, but stays with it. He will not improve and will not get in the show.

Daigrepont with his quickest pass of the weekend, but he will not get in the show.

Right Lane: Doug Winters Runs 6.563/149.93, Now #19; Best prior run: 5.856/243.24, Was #19

Balduf is straight down the groove with the second quickest pass of the session and he will not get in the show.

Winters with tires shake and clicks it off.

Right Lane: Sidnei Frigo Runs 7.142/131.93, Now #18; Best prior run: 5.843/245.63, Was #18

Rivenbark rolled the beam and will not get a time.

Frigo with shook and clicked it off.
