LAS VEGAS - Notes from round 2 qualifying in Top Alcohol Dragster at the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series, Pacific Division, event at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:
Right Lane: Baruc Llamas Runs 5.389/258.47, Now #10; No Prior Run
Weather conditions: air temperature 77 degrees, relative humidity 11 percent, barometer 29.99 inches, adjusted altitude 3,537 feet.
Llamas is straight down the groove with a good clean pass. Baruc Llamas' incremental times: 60ft-0.962 sec., 330ft-2.467, 660ft-3.588/222.88 mph, 1,000ft-4.546.
Left Lane: Shaunda Blinzler Runs 6.610/138.12, Now #15; No Prior Run
Right Lane: Johnny Ahten No Time, Now #14; Best prior run: 5.525/262.28, Was #14
Blinzler gets the blower belt to stay on, and she clicks it off early.
Ahten can't get the car to fire and is pushed off the starting line.
Left Lane: Taylor Vetter Runs 10.402/99.44, Now #17; Best prior run: 9.747/116.38, Was #17
Right Lane: Mitch Myers No Time, Now #13; Best prior run: 5.473/265.53, Was #13
Vetter rattled the tires and made quick move toward the centerline before she clicked it off.
Myers can't get the car to fire.
Left Lane: James Stevens Runs 6.568/166.62, Now #15; Best prior run: 7.860/130.57, Was #16
Right Lane: Braiden Chesleigh Runs 5.456/265.95, Now #12; Best prior run: 5.402/267.80, Was #12
Stevens started to rattle the tires and pedaled it, but couldn't get it to hook up and clicked it off.
Chesleigh with a clean pass, but he will not get in the show.
Left Lane: Casey Grisel Runs 5.420/272.06, Now #9; Best prior run: 5.386/273.27, Was #9
Grisel starts to drift out of the groove over by the centerline, he reels it back into the groove. He will not get in the show.
Left Lane: Summer Richardson Runs 5.475/268.49, Now #6; Best prior run: 5.279/274.66, Was #6
Right Lane: Madison Payne Runs 8.790/91.80, Now #8; Best prior run: 5.385/250.55, Was #8
Richardson is straight down the groove, but will not improve. She makes the fourth quickest pass of the session.
Payne lost traction right at the hit and clicked it off.
Left Lane: Joey Severance Runs 5.298/271.30, Now #5; Best prior run: 5.266/272.01, Was #5

Severance kept it hooked up and hitting on all eight to make the quickest pass of the session. He will stay in the number five spot. Joey Severance's incremental times: 60ft-0.902 sec., 330ft-2.363, 660ft-3.499/218.30 mph, 1,000ft-4.471.
Parker with a clean pass, but will not improve.

McPhillips is straight down the groove with a good clean pass. He will not improve, but makes the third quickest pass of the session.
Sampey launched hard and kept it hooked up to make her quickest pass of the weekend and the of the session. She will stay in the number three spot. Angelle Sampey's incremental times: 60ft-0.925 sec., 330ft-2.379, 660ft-3.471/228.04 mph, 1,000ft-4.408.

cowie launched hard and kep ti hooked up to make the quickest pass of the session, but will stay in the number two spot. Shawn Cowie's incremental times: 60ft-0.906 sec., 330ft-2.322, 660ft-3.433/222.99 mph, 1,000ft-4.384.
Fricke with another great pass, the third quickest pass of the session. She holds on to the number one spot. Jackie Fricke's incremental times: 60ft-0.948 sec., 330ft-2.426, 660ft-3.533/225.82 mph, 1,000ft-4.473.
